Hello, I've read superman through the tpb for about 7 years, but for the past several years I've  neglected my superman passion.

So I'm trying to figure out what trades have come out and which I need.

Is there a site with a list of what trades have been published and where they fit into continutity?

or can the group here help me out?

The books I have are as follows and I believe they are in this order

What ever happend to The man of Tomorow

Man of steel
Man of Steel Vol 2 (recent aquisition)
Man of Steel vol 3  (bought this one today)
Exile
Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite
Time and Time again
Lois and Clark: the new adventures
Panic in the Sky
Death of Superman
World Without
Return of Superman
They Saved Luthor's Brain
Death of Clark Kent
Superman vrs Revenage squad
Trial of Superman
THe wedding and Beyond
Bizzaro World
Superman Transformed  (never any trade collecting the resulotion of this?)
Hunter Prey
Doomsday wars

The new stories are easy to figure out as they are numbered

No Limits
End Game
Till Death do us part
Critical Condition
Return to Krypton
President Lex

But I'm trying to place the followiong trades, Where do they fall

Superman Day of Doom (is this mxyptlk?)
Superman Godfall
Superman End of the Century
Our Worlds at war
OUr worlds at war II

And of Course I have some of the popular else worlds
Generations
Son of Superman
Superma The Darkside
Kingdom Come

Are there any books collection the modern Brainiac stories?
Or the New Fortress of Solitude story?

Sorry for the elementary questions but living through trade paperbacks can be confusing and I'd love some help following the modern continutiy

Sorry I can't help out too much, but I have a quick question:  I'm curious what your're referring to by "the New Fortress of Solitude story"?

Wasn't there a story where the fortress was destroyed? a sky scraper fell on it? and then Steel helped superman build a new one, The new one was just some sort of small sphere portal to the fortress which was in a diffrent dimension?

I don't know if that was a story or a running sub-thread, my recollection on this one is very vague.  I seem to remember the Antarctic fortress was blown up by his robots or something back when he was trying to become dictator (late Jurgens era, I believe).  Then much later, maybe under a different creative tream, Steel helped him build a hyper-sphere which was basically a  T.A.R.D.I.S. in that it was bigger on the inside than it was on the outside.  So in theory, he could have kept it anywhere - like in his bedroom closet or in his shoe or in the Daily Planet globe or something, which could have been pretty neat - but instead he put it in the Arctic just to throw a bone to us old-timers who had been complaining that the South Pole was the wrong place to have it because it belongs at the North Pole.  So there was just this big sphere sitting on a mountain where anyone could see it, which kind of defeats the entire purpose of making a hyper-sphere in the first place.  The whole thing just made no sense at all.

I'm pretty sure this is all being ignored in the new continuity, it seems like Supes has a traditional, 3-dimensional Arctic fortress - one that he made himself - with a big metal door again, just like he always has.  Cheesy

I do wish that trade paperbacks had more information as to what order they should be read in.

Here's DC's list, but they don't give the order:

http://www.dccomics.com/graphic_novels/?cat=SUPERMAN

This seems like something that the Superman Homepage would have, but if they do, I certainly can't find it.
