IMAGERY: Color and/or Black and White

Evidently from what I've seen from the TGSB that the illustrations there are in B&W.
Being this is the internet and the originals are, mostly in color, should we display "Four Color Illos" from whatever categorical source or
if there's imagery from TGSB using just those in context with accompanying text?
I go with color myself.
Thoughts, gentlemen?

Well, being a graphic artist makes me kinda biased, but mostly I prefer colour to black & white imagery.

While I think it's an admirable goal to honor Fleisher's writing style and approach, I see no need to limit ourselves to his book's illustrations.
If the book had had a bigger budget, no doubt there'd have been some color images in there. Or maybe even some original illos by DC artists. This new, on-line project should take advantage of all the resources open to it, just as Fleisher would have if he'd had them available to him. To my mind that includes good quality scans, in color, and original illos by Bill 9000 (and others, if they're willing).
Now, if there's a great black and white image that's not surpassed by anything available in color (for example, the great Curt Swan sketch in the Nightwing entry) then that's fine, too. The goal should be to use the best image out there for each entry.
Personally, I'd prefer character studies and individual panels over covers, but maybe that's just me.

I agree that color is better - I've just been adding the B&W illustrations from The Great Superman Book because I have them; sometimes they're funny; and they sometimes show things that I haven't seen anywhere else (like the picture of Fleisher interviewing Superman, apparently done just for the book). They also provide a unifying style. I certainly have no objection to people removing or replacing them - but where else are you going to find a picture of Superman flying off with the Statue of Liberty? Unless you happen to have the original comic in question, which I don't.
But I don't really see why we need any sort of policy on whether color is better or B&W is better - shouldn't we just use good pictures regardless of whether they're color or not?
