How much detail on the Legion of Super Heroes?

I've often meant to write entries on villains like The Time Trappper and Starfinger for Supermanica, but then I wonder if the 30th century in huge detail is appropriate for Supermanica just becuse its from Adventure comics. It seems odd to emphasize that and leave out Justice League details.
At the same time, even at the "Legion Clubhouse" website, its hard to get all-in-one summaries of these villains and if you go to Wikipedia you get nonsense pocket uiniverse junk thrown in.
Another question, when Superman finally defeats Amamlak, there is a reference to Kanjar Ro. If I wanted to do a Kanjar Ro entry, would I just do a one sentence entry that he was a dictator who enslaved the Justice League in the early 60s? Should there be a Kanjor Ro entry at all?

If it really is only a reference and Kanjar Ro is not essential to the plot we shouldn't let it lead us into the expanded canon morass. Usually a short entry will do, especially if you can make reference to a canonical book.
(I feel like a hypocrite: my fave entries contain phrases like "Superman discusses X in June 1947 when he bumps his head and flashes back for one panel to an adventure from a non-canonical book...")

I agree on Kanjar Ro, I actually think I didn't make his name an active link because the entry would be mostly Justice League info with only indirect Supes references.
What about the Legion villains like the Time Trapper and Starfinger? I did write an entry on the Time Trapper's "Iron Curtain of Time" because it stopped Superboy's time travel for months and seemed important to the character as well as the Legion.

My initial idea is just to reference every adventure but there are so many where Superboy just stands around in the background...

I'll probably add the Time Trapper and Computo, etc. keep it to concise entries on people and not expand out too far.
One thing about the canonical sources that I think is a good accident is it lets you remember how tightly Superman and the Legion are tied together. The Legion really is a part of who Superman is.
In the 1960s...
Not only did Superboy participate heavily (he usually DOES do things in most adventures) but, the whole Superman family is involved.
1. Karate Kid tries out, who does he scrap with? Superboy, who's sittin' on the bench as deputy leader.
2. Ferro Lad sacrifices himself, who does he shove away? Superboy.
3. The adult Legion wants to be friends with who? Superman.
4. Supergirl feels sorry for Superman, sho does she suggest as a possible mate? Saturn Woman!
5. Does the Legion of Super Villains want to take on the Green Lantern? No, they want to hang with Luthor and take on Superman.
6. Jimmy is buds with the Legion.
7. Lana tries out for the Legion.
Mort really let the writers weave an interconnected story.
The Justice League? Maybe BECAUSE of Mort, but no matter - none of Superman's closest buds hangs with the Justice League, Supes himself is almost always knocked out by kryptonite in every adventure.

As long as Superboy or Supergirl played a huge part in the story then you can add any details that you want if they come from the sources.
