What comic was it?
Santa Claus is canon. so all Santa stoires as long as they happen in the canon books count.

He appeared again in DC Comics Presents #67 March 1984

Excellent, thanks.
I do not (yet) have TGSB, and I was going to have a lot harder time finding that comic...but I did find some images from it. The comic was simply titled "Superman's Christmas Adventure," and it was released in 1940. It was reprinted in the mid-70s in "Christmas with the Superheroes."
