Though unbearable with his stupid jokes, he was nice, I liked him, and I regret we don't see him anymore in the present DC mainstream Superman stories. Will he appear again one day?

It remains to be seen if that will be the actual spelling in the books or that was mispelled in the interview. But I wonder if it's a suggestion that Steve was a 'pain in the back' in his very name. Could have been a phone interview.

I loved the stories where he and Clark became friends, after he was fired by Morgan Edge (in SUPERMAN #384... Exactly 10 years after his debut). I'm glad to know that he is back in ALL STAR SUPERMAN. As part of post-Crisis, Steve Lombard's football wielding personality has been integrated into Clark Kent, ex-football star, as it should have been all along.
