Aquaman's Paul Norris

It's funny, we were just talking about Aquaman and Paul Norris on the
Roy Thomas thread
, and today I read at Mark Evanier's blog about a Paul Norris art show, along with an anecdote about Norris and Stan Lee.
Mark Evanier's News From ME:

about the exhibit:

Wow, Mark Evanier telling an anecdote involving him being "good friends" with important people in comics, and doing plenty of name-dropping? Naw.
"Hi, I'm Mark Evanier and I, uh, kinda used to know Jack Kirby!"
Does anyone else feel that Mark Evanier becomes more and more intolerable as time goes on? The "Paris Hilton of comics" title may apply here. Sure, he's sometimes funny, though it seems he saved all his best jokes for his blog and not for SERGIO ARAGONES DESTROYS DC: "Cheryl Ladd?" Groan. The Legionnaires getting into a fight over who their leader is? Yawn. Something that ought to be as funny as a Legion parody did no jokes except the ones fans have been telling for years amongst each other. And somehow, he managed to make something that ought to be as funny as the eccentricities of comic book/science fiction fans into something terribly tired and unfunny in his FANBOY, which could have been the KNIGHTS OF THE DINNER TABLE for comic book collectors but instead did the usual "I can't get girls" jokes.

You're quite right about Evanier in many ways, of course, but I'd give anything to see new issues of Crossfire one day. Wow, did I like Crossfire. DNAgents, on the other hand, was tosh.
