Title: Superman Retroactive the '90s
Post by: Great Rao on September 09, 2011, 02:24:44 PM
I just read DC Retroactive: Superman - the '90s #1.  A great Simonson/Bogdanove stand-alone tale, which I enjoyed even more than their original stories.  This was possibly due to the fact that Weezie and Bog had a different editor (no Carlin anywhere in the credits), or due to the stand-alone nature of the story.

The tale opens with the pony-tale wearing Clark and the mullet-Superman, but (minor spoiler) by the end of the story he has lost his hair.  I'm glad that Louise and Jon got the chance to provide an explanation for Superman's loss of his (in)famous '90s 'do and think the whole thing was a lot of fun.

The loss of the mullet wasn't really a mystery, Clark got a haircut (he was still powerless after the Final Night event) right before the wedding.
