Within a year after his start, Batman ears had shortened a lot. Also, Joe is pretty vague about drawing the utility belt in any of the well-known styles.

I think it might be the only known picture that Shuster drew of Batman. Heritage Galleries auctioned it off in the last month or so along with a bunch of other pages from the book. It went for close to 12,000 dollars! Do a completed search on ebay with the two words Shuster and Batman and you can find see it. There is a HUGE scan of it on the Heritage site along with a bunch of other cool Superman and Batman stuff they've auctioned off in the last decade or so.
