I have purchased most of these.  I must have reproductions of my enemy if I am to strike at him and destroy his adopted planet.
One of my fave is the Superboy/Supergirl deluxe set (these sets cost 70$ cdn!).  Supergirl is perfect and the Krypto-Streaky figs are quite a nice touch.  Unfortunately, Superboy is a little ackward - if some of you have him - look at the size of his hands and the lack of detail.  His smirk is also "special"...

I have the new JLA Superman Dc direct one, i bought 2 so i could open one.  Is it me or are these figures like statues themselves?  Doesnt bother me showing off my Superman on a custom stand in my living room  :D

Well, it's a little difficult to explain if they are statues - each figure is different.  For example, Kingdom Come Superman has very limited articulation.  Then, Superman silver-age can even move is feet at the ankle!  One of the nicest figs was the Supergirl silver-age (it came with Superboy but the hands are terrible).  Clark Smallville has no movement whatsoever on his legs.  So, as you can see...  It's varied...  You can go on the Dc Boards to discuss with fans - they know a lot about the figures.
