Title: Re: Superman and the UN Post by: Johnny Nevada on April 11, 2005, 07:30:10 PM From what I recall, Superman #146 (in 1961) first showed Superman receiving the honor; the scene (with IIRC a more ethnically-diverse UN body shown and without Superman's remark about mainly being loyal to the United States first) was repeated in "Limited Collector's Edition #C-31" in the 70's (a story that's available on this site). Both were retellings of Superman's origin.
