Title: It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's SUPER... Jimmy Olsen

Jimmy Olsen is a comic book universe onto himself, here were the times when he got Superman like powers, of course he got about a zillion other powers besides these.

These covers are spectacular. Every time I see covers like these, I ask myself "How could the story be?". Today it doesn't happen often 'cause covers are usually pin ups (especially at Marvel).

Yes! I agree, I just love to look and feel of the classic covers, it seems that most people nowadays can't do covers like that anymore or do not want to. :(  :?

I think I will do a thread with some of my favorite covers.  8)

I will join you Beppo when you do.

Did you make it to the Big Apple con this weekend?

I found a box of 'readers' from the Sarah Solowitz archives (they all had her name on em). It was like striking gold. More darn Superman-DC goodies that I can shake a Bizarro at.

Plus Rip Hunter, Cave Carson, and GIs vs DINOS! :)

I'm partial to Elastic Lad and Turtle Boy myself.

I'm kind of a Wolf-Boy-aholic...
