"November 14, 2005: Worldwide Satellite Teaser Trailer Debut for “Superman Returns”
Warner Bros. Pictures have announced today that the teaser trailer for "Superman Returns" will debut worldwide via a satellite feed.

The first satellite feed is scheduled for Thursday, November 17th between 9:00pm and 9:15pm EST (6:00 - 6:15pm PST), with the second feed scheduled for Friday, November 18th between 9:00am and 9:15am EST (6:00 - 6:15am PST).

The specified satellite coordinates for both feeds are set down as:

IA 6, Transponder 14; C-BAND
Downlink Freq: 3980 H; Audio 6.2/6.8
Trouble Number: 310-287-3800

I imagine these specifications are meant more for large media outlets than the average home user with a satellite dish on the roof of their house."

We have a few steerable dishes here at work.  I may be able to downlink this.  If so, I'll see if I can share it with the board.

Don't hit that panic button yet, we've got two days to go!

Even Superman isn't worth two hours in Hogwarts!

Besides, I agree with the guy who said the REAL Harry Potter will always be the Colonel in charge of the 4077th.

I just saw the trailer at the midnight Harry Potter screening.

It is good.

It is great.

It is absolutely fantastic.

From the moment I heard the first word spoken, I knew that I would know every remaining line of dialogue in the trailer, because I already knew them by heart.

I was not disappointed.

Bryan, if you're reading this:  Thank you.

This is why Superman Through the Ages! exists.

It's been on LimeWire for a month.

I didn't download it and watch it, of course...because I don't think that would be considered legal  :D

While I still have severe reservations about the way the costume looks and what we've heard of the plot, I have to admit this teaser was excellent.

The use of Brando as Jor-El, the music in relation to what was being shown quite literally gave me chills. It was that good. If the movie feels like this teaser, then there may be hope for it yet.

This is why I hate people who read comics (and yet I read comics): Excerpt from IGN Comics review of the trailer:

"While the first two Superman films are beloved, they also have a naiveté found in many early comic books."

So apparently "early comic books" are comics before the mid-eighties now.

I was considering going myself, but decided against driving five hours each way.
