I'd like to be proved wrong on this. I ask, why bother doing something like this at all? Because no one will create new characters for Warner Brothers?

This is the kind of stuff we've been asking to have happen for a long time.

With Kara in the mix you get more good stories and since she's such a big draw you get more people buying the comic as well. As for Supergirl joining the Legion, I question which Kara it is? Also, will she be a permanent resident in the 31st century? From DC's long ago revised time travel rules it would seem she would have to be. We do know now that it's unlikely that Superboy Prime will be joining the Legion in the future.
