I like they made a stamp out of the 1989 Aquaman series - incidentally, this was a Curt Swan-drawn mini.

The thing I always thought was the most charming about Curt Swan and Schaffenberger is that they drew all of their monsters as being vaguely "cute." Look for instance, at Otto Orion's creatures, or how adorable the Moby Dick of Space was.

That Aqua-miniseries was interesting because it really showed of Curt Swan's incredible range. He drew the jellyfish creatures responsible for the conquest of Atlantis as being actually, quite TERRIFYING - very much unlike the funny-faced Moby Dick of Space. In many ways, Curt Swan's length of time on Superman was unfortunate: Curt, like Rick Veitch, could do an incredible range of styles and kinds of comics.

Couldn't they have used a Jack Kirby splash for GA?
