Title: The Red Kryptonite Menace! Post by: Super Monkey on December 11, 2005, 04:30:50 PM I finished my Red Kryptonite entry as far as the info in the TGSB goes. But that doesn't mean it is complete, using the GCD Database I found more stories not covered in TGSB. He only included Superman, Action Comics, and World's Finest from 1960 to June 1965.
Here is my entry as is, lots of cool info to be found: http://superman.nu/wiki/index.php/Red_Kryptonite Here are more stories that were not included, and this is where you all come in, if you have these issues or can find some more info on them, please add them to the entry to make it complete, thanks. the list of Red K stories not included: Adventure Comics #252 Adventure Comics #255 Superboy #74 Adventure Comics #268 Adventure Comics #270 Superboy #81 Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #22 Adventure Comics #284 Adventure Comics #288 Adventure Comics #295 Adventure Comics #298 Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #63 Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #36 Adventure Comics #315 Adventure Comics #334 Superman #178 Superman #179 Action Comics #333 Action Comics #336 Superman #185 Superman #188 Action Comics #351 Superman #203 Action Comics #366 Action Comics #367 Superman #212 Superman #213 Superman #215 Adventure Comics #384 Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #95 Superman #227 Adventure Comics #409 Superman #252 Justice League of America #137 New Adventures of Superboy #24 New Adventures of Superboy #41 New Adventures of Superboy #42 DC Comics Presents #59 Superman #404 Title: Re: The Red Kryptonite Menace! No. They did introduced something called Crimson Kryptonite which made people evil, which was used in the Post-Crisis DC and Smallville, but no Red K. Title: Re: The Red Kryptonite Menace! Post by: Psybertrack on December 11, 2005, 07:13:57 PM I think Crimsom Kryptonite is pretty much the new version of Red kryptonite. Crimsom was the creation of Mxyzptlk and made Luthor Supes equal by making Superman human powered. Lex whooped his ass. Supes had to take a cab home.
on smallville the smallville high rings are red meteorite rock gems and thus a red kryptonite and made good Clark into James-Dean/Wild-child/unihibited Clark who committed crimes like robbiing armored cars and atms. Post by: Psybertrack on December 12, 2005, 07:13:02 PM ok back to Red Kryptonite.
I seem to remember that at one point either Superman or Superboy actually kept a collection of samples of different kinds of kryptonite in storage somewhere in case he ever needed them. |
