We've now got every anti-spam feature that's on that page which is linked to above, including the SpamBlacklist extension, and even the extra "bad-behavior spambot blocking" extension that is linked to at the very bottom. Yes, doing the upgrade was a hassle, which was the reason I had been putting it off.
