Waldman worked at Fleischer Bros Studios in the 1930s and 40s, contributing significantly to the Betty Boop cartoons. He was responsible for large parts of several Superman cartoons, including Billion Dollar Limited and the Magnetic Telescope. He also created an early wordless graphic novel, EVE.
