Unfathomable that so many people still insist the Silver Age was devoid of mature, well-executed, thoughtful story telling.

A wonderful and important addition to this website. Kudos to Jim and 'Rao for putting it up.  :s:

Nearly every single person who makes such statements either never actually read any Sliver Age comics but only heard about them or only read a very small sample and made a brutish decision base on that.

I was surprised how much this story felt like an episode of Smallville.  Just replace Bash with Whitney and it would have fit right in during the first season.
