By the Grapes of Bacchus!

I am glad to see that it is not completely dead and I am not the only one adding stuff.

It took a while to learn the formatting and all, but it wasn't that bad actually, and even if my entries aren't all that good, they can always be edited... 8)

I also want to thank Telle and DrJohnnyDiablo for keeping things moving as of late as well!

Added "Thorones", "Rondors" (inspired by a recent post by Julian), "Ron-Avon", and "(The Game of) Kriss-Kross Krypton" (I always liked that little story)...

Great!

I am still working on my Saturn entry, it's connections to Superman Mythology is a lot more vast than I even knew about. It's about 85% finish right now.

here is the link: http://superman.nu/wiki/index.php/Saturn

I also updated the Black Mercy entry with a cool rare pic:

Thanks to Misterantolini  for writing the entry

I wonder if White Kryptonite could wipe out Black Mercy?  It seems reasonable that Kal would have kept a chunk at the Fortress...

Unless it really was a fungus, then you might need something stronger like Tinactin... 8)

Good news, I figured out how to use the preview button so hopefully my entries won't be 10 minor edits long anymore... 8)

Well, I just went to Supermanica, logged in, and by the time I grabbed my Great Superman Book 10 ft. away the site wasn't working any more...  :?

Its was a little wonky and slow moving about 10 minutes ago, seems OK now...

You wiped out the total post-1964 detail of Atlantis, I tried to restore it...seems good to add the detail but I would think that the info since should be kept!

I'm going to put it back in...just in the same sequential style that the rest of the article is written in. Any decision to "wipe out" the rest of the article comes from the fact that I typed 4 pages last night with the possibility of losing all my work, since the site was acting up so much...it just doesn't make sense to corrupt TGSB entry, IMO.

Oh, OK...is there any way to leave a note when a previous entry is replaced and the previous entry will be added back?

Title: Re: Keeping it moving

Well, I could have left one on this forum, but I went to sleep instead. It took quite some time to copy that article.

I just left a note on the Atlantis discussion page, though. This will be fairly easy, since you've already put the previous information at the beginning of the Great Superman Book article.

Gotcha', sorry if  thought that the more recent stuff was gone...it gets kind of awkward tranferring TGSB word for word and then adding extra, as some is transferred with TGSB written afterwards, but if you add in more, then its not exactly a quote...I didn't know what was going on.

The Saturn trilogy... update

I finished the Saturn entry from the TGSB.
I am now working on Saturn Girl.
Once that is done I will start on Saturn Queen.

That's ok. I should have communicated better, but I went to sleep instead :)

The Atlantis article is basically finished now. I added the previous info from Adventure comics and DCCP back at the end, plus some info that I remembered from Superman: The Secret Years. I'm not sure how people usually designate TGSB information, but I just put "end TGSB" (/TGSB) as an annotation.

Anyways, I've been able to add Mintar Bannin (Polar Boy's dad who helped Superboy out), the canine Zkor, Rija and Kond from the story right after the Sand Saga (and the last comic I ever bought), and the Amnesia Machine from a fun World's Finest Story...

In addition to the aforementioned discussion page; you can also leave comments when you save a page, and of course all the previous versions of any article can be accessed from the history page.

Great work folks!  Finally, Ronal has an entry.  Soon the Atlantean royal family will be complete!

A few more articles and I would feel confidant in starting a new "Event" --the race to article 1000!

no need for that, I rather have people pick and choose what they want to add and update at their own pace, it's more fun that way.

I finally finished the Saturn Girl entry: http://superman.nu/wiki/index.php/Saturn_Girl

It is now inadvertently a Quadrilogy... :)

C.W. Saturn is up. I remembered today that Miracle Monday is on the 15th of this month.

So...

How is it shaping up?

I sometimes wonder what the most essential entries are, the Legion has a lot of entries, the Justice League of America (which often only featured a brief appearance by Supes) very few...and the Justice League comics are for the most part non-canonical.

When you think about ALL the entries of people, planets, adventures, devices, Supermanica could go to 10,000 or more entries, but I wonder how many should be entries or just listed within major topics.

But I have to admit its kind of fun to list the comics I had.

we are doing good, but some of the most important entries, are far from finish.

The two that really need serious help are:

http://superman.nu/wiki/index.php/Lois_Lane

http://superman.nu/wiki/index.php/Supergirl

those two entries should be a lot bigger than they are.
