Title: IC #7 page by page review
Post by: Super Monkey on May 05, 2006, 09:01:50 PM
This is the last review of it's kind and perhaps this will be one of the last threads here, since I don't know how much longer this site will support this crisis thing.

One last time.

Okay – the final issue of Infinite Crisis hit this Wednesday, and we’re going into it one final time with out tongue-in-cheek sometimes funny, but more often than not just dumb look at a page-by-page recap of the issue.

As in our previous installments, it’s a good idea to have read the issue before plunging in.

Evil Robby Reed blows the whole series away at the always hell-arious Dial B for Blog.

As I watch the bloody and dying Kal-L say "perhaps Lois was right" and then say NOTHING despite the dramatic context, and wonder how THIS pablum is "realistic", I say goodbye to comics as I loved them...

Boy, we sure didn't know how lucky we had it back in the Iron Age.

Maybe, just maybe that was the real point behind this whole IC, to prove to us just how lucky we had it during the Iron Age ;)

Is Superboy back?

That's all I really care about at this point...

The article is sheer brilliance, and the fact that it's been exceeding its 10GB/day bandwith is undoubtedly a result of its popularity.

I finally got to read it, it was very funny and very gross, I sure am glad I didn't get any of the issues and I am sure glad I won't have to waste my money on the TPB.

It is completely gross, isn't it?

And isn't "the Joker gets to play" STARTLING and "realistic" dialog?

Pthhhhhhh...

I didn't actually pay for it with any of my own money, but I did read most of the stuff. I was overjoyed at the end of the first issue when Kal-L and Superboy Prime returned.

I wonder if I can sue DC for emotional damage?
