Title: Golden Age Supes in the Modern Age before Infinite Crisis? Post by: ATMachine on August 27, 2006, 12:13:36 PM Hello! New member here.
Feel free to move this topic if you like, moderators: I'm not exactly sure which forum is best for it. I was wondering, in what Modern Age comics has a version of Golden Age Superman appeared? In particular I'm looking for everything that happened after 1985-86 (that is, the Crisis on Infinite Earths) and before 2005-06 (the dreck that was Infinite Crisis and its tie-ins). So far I've heard of: Adventures of Superman #612 DC One Million 80-page Giant #1 The Kingdom (issues #2 and #4) Superman: The Man of Steel (issues #80, #81, and #82) Any others? Thanks to anybody who can help! Title: Re: Golden Age Supes in the Modern Age before Infinite Crisi Post by: Super Monkey on August 27, 2006, 01:48:54 PM Golden Age Superman only appeared during the actual Golden Age 1930's to 1940's.
Earth-2 Superman never appeared in modern times until The Kingdom then the IC series. The others were different beings that were created as tributes by the writers. There's also the recent novel, It's Superman, which is a modern take on the Golden Age version, but it is a novel, not a comic book. It's listed here (http://superman.nu/kal-l/superman/). :s: |
