Title: Justice Society #2 Spoilers
Post by: Michel Weisnor on January 11, 2007, 01:26:49 AM
In yesterday's issue of Justice Society, Starman is revealed to be.....

Thom Kallor from Kingdom Come Universe or at least he mentions Kingdom Come. Again, issue #1's last page shows a four panel sneek peak with Dawnstar.  Could he be from pre-crisis Earth-1 Legion, Kingdom Come, or a merged Thom?

From the way I read it (and with Dawnstar's cameo in JSA #1) he bounced from the PC-Legion-verse to the Kingdom Come-verse and now to the DCU.

Perhaps universe jumping would explain his schizophrenia? Looks like Power Girl's going for a journey through the multiverse. Wait a minute, I thought the DC multiverse doesn't exist.  ???

Notice Starman's dialogue to Kara at the bottom of the page.

Based on his dialogue, it certainly looks like he could be Thom - or else merged with Thom in an impending-zero-hour kind of way.

As far as the mulitverse is concerned, I was under the impression that post-IC, the multiverse exists again.

I remember glancing through Wildstorm's Batman/Planetary ("mature" readers only), which gives an explanation of post-crisis DC. The rest of the multiverse exists while only a few universes were violently consolidated into one. Post-Infinite Crisis appears to create a multiverse within a singular universe. Frankly, I find this to be more confusing.

Quiz time!  What do the two statements

  • "The rest of the multiverse exists while only a few universes were violently consolidated into one"

and

  • "a multiverse within a singular universe"

have in common with the term

  • "military intelligence"?

 :-\
