For me, the high point is the Hostess cupcake ad, and its interesting bit of trivia that there is a "Fur Plaza" in Gotham City!

There's an Al Schroeder III letter on the last page.

It also talks of Kandor, which everyone has heard about but few have seen.

AMAZO hulking over Superman caught me off guard. I never realized how imposing AMAZO was drawn.

So tell me, was Super Diary used before this adventure or any time afterwards?

It was a staple and showed up on the very first page of the very first story to ever show the Fortress of Solitude.  Maggin used it too, and it also had an appearance the 1998 Weisinger tribute story.

Browse through the onlines comics on this site and you'll find it in a bunch of places.

I have one now --found it in a thrift store a few years ago.  One of the few Superman collectibles I have.  I bought it because the ads for the those superhero vehicles always struck me as slightly ludicrous --I always thought, why does Superman need a car???? When I read those Amazo stories years later I thought they did a credible job of cramming the product placement into continuity.  Not as dumb as the Spideycar.  I remember Capt. Marvel had a car as well, but did Wonder Woman have a van?

There were two versions, but the one in the story was my favorite. Here is the other one: http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/comics101/images/2005/aug31/superpowers.jpg

Here are the other Superman related "hotwheels/matchbox" style cars:

I had this issue (and the toy as well, which is somewhere in my house, I hope), but never got the subsequent one.  Please upload it--I wanna know the rest of the story!  :)  {Prof. Jonathan}
