All-Star Superman is a must read. Superman Through the Ages appears to be only 48 pages. Jack Kirby's Fourth World Omnibus continues to please the eye. Jeff Smith's Captain Marvel concludes. The Spirit always looks good.

I'm going to stop buying regular DCU after Last Son and Camelot Falls storylines. Current DC stories I don't want to read and the artwork is eye candy with no substance. What DC lacks in creativity, it makes up in trite mediocrity.

Bless DC for these cool collections they keep cranking out.  Keeps me knee-deep in comics without having to buy any current titles!  :)

At the moment, though, I'm having more fun with IDW's "Dick Tracy" collections and the new Popeye "I Yam What I Yam" book.  Plus "Terry and the Pirates" is in the pipeline! Now if my wallet will just stand up to this flood of cool stuff...

The Popeye book is awesome!

But that Brian Bolland Jimmy Olsen Cover is great too and I'm intrigued by the Batgirl showcase!

Fantagraphics is so great, they really put a lot of care and love into their books, or at least the people who get their books published by them do anyway.
