I'm not a fan of the "reptilian" material, but it seems inescapable these days.  The good news is the "S" looks GREAT -- possibly the best on screen to date -- and I like the continuation of the darker color scheme from SR.  

When you consider how radically they could've changed the costume, it's good that they're sticking more or less to tradition.  I see we're even back to the oval belt buckle, although it looks like there's no trunks.  Still nicer than the Jim Lee design.

Also Cavill's features seem more mature here than either Routh, Cain or early Chris Reeve, which is a big plus in my book.  Enough of the boy-man Supermen, already.

So far, so good.
