Title: New Superman DVD 2004
Post by: Super Monkey on November 24, 2003, 07:49:40 PM
The Man of Steel is gets animated on DVD

While every studio finds a pace for their television releases, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has chosen slow and steady for their animated superhero fare. The success of the Batman animated releases has led to the announcement of Superman The Animated Series: The Last Son of Krypton, the animated movie that kicked of the series in 1996.
Survivor of the distant, destroyed planet Krypton, young Clark Kent grows to manhood on Earth, aware of super powers that he vows to use for the benefit of his adopted planet in the form of Superman.
The disc will present the film in its original television broadcast fullscreen ratio and doesn’t appear to have any supplements.
With a suggested retail price of $14.95, the DVD will arrive on Feruary 3rd.

This is great! I really hope they get the rest of the episodes of this fine Superman series out. Preferably in nice season boxed sets.

Yeah, I don't understand why WBs won't boxset the animated episodes.
