Title: Clones burn-out fast Post by: The Starchild on February 22, 2003, 11:25:15 AM It appears as though real world clones suffer from accelerated aging. "Dolly," the first cloned sheep, recently died at age six of old age. Sheep normally live to around 12.
http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2764039.stm So why would "Superboy" be stuck at one age with no aging at all??? It makes no sense. Title: Clones burn-out fast Post by: Ric-El on February 22, 2003, 04:57:26 PM jeeze! poor sheep!

Title: Clones burn-out fast Post by: nightwing on February 24, 2003, 10:53:53 AM I wouldn't worry too much. I mean, we are talking about comic book time, after all. Franklin Richards was born in the late 60s and the last time I looked he still was in kindergarten. At that rate, Superboy should still be a teenager when I'm in a retirement home.

Title: Re: Clones burn-out fast Post by: Super-Teacher on February 20, 2004, 10:24:57 PM The Superman Robots became inactive in the early 70s due to the pollution content in the air (Why didnt Supes just use a charcol filter?)
I always wondered why Superman didnt use Braniac 5's short-lived clones as tempory replacement for the robots. Title: Re: Clones burn-out fast Post by: Just a fan on March 06, 2004, 02:28:35 PM ok I guess I've been out of the loop on S-boy I just picked up Superman/Batman #7, and found out that Conner is 50% Luthor?
