I love this forum and the Fortress in general.  I have learned much from being a casual reader and get the sense that I have a lot in common with the other members here in terms of what is great about Superman.  Some of my favorite tales include the "mourning stories" like Superman Under a Red Sun (Action 300) and Superman mythos/Krypton/Kandor stories like Supergirl & The Fantastic Secret of Superbaby II (Action 299 --where, incidentally, Telle the Kryptonian God of Wisdom appears).  Jimmy Olsen is perhaps my favorite title.

As you can see, I'm very interested in the Weisinger era and its after-effects.

I am curious: are there other members who are also interested in contemporary homages or references to the mythos by other, generally non-superhero cartoonists?  I'm thinking of Chris Ware's Jimmy Corrigan, Daniel Clowes' David Boring and Lloyd Llewellyn, etc.  Jaime Hernandez (whose HR Costigan is an obvious Luthor clone) is another favorite  --I loved his Marvel family story in Bizarro Comics and the new cover for Bizarro World.  Does anyone here not like these comics?

This is basically my first post and I welcome feedback.  Telle
