I believe this is one of Curt Swan's earliest Superman stories:

"The MAN WHO STOLE the SUN!"

Seems it was adapted from an earlier adventure written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by John Sikela.

YES!

I have the 3D version of this story and it remains one of my all time favorite stories! To me it perfectly captures and represents everything that I love about the classic and true Superman comics.

I agree, that's why I'd been planning for a long while to add this story to the site.  I had been working on creating a colorized version of it, but it was taking forever to do, so I finally decided to just put up the B&W linework that I was working from.  This was as it was published in the 3-D issue.

If anyone else wants to color it, let me know and I can send hires linework to you.
