I'm completely out of the loop with this.

Is this still happening? Any new updates?

I'd also like to see the "Special Edition" of Superman II released soon. While the original version is still a good film, there are some flaws that I'd like to see done away with and some key scenes added.

Many people want others to accept their opinions as fact. If enough people accept them as fact then it gives the initial person or persons a feeling of power. This is why people will constantly talk about something they hate—they want others to feel the same way. It matters to them that others perceive things the same way that they do.

They don't give us more details, just this:

Warner is looking at re-releasing the Superman films, but issues remain to be resolved.

I'd like the legal issues to be resolved and I would like to see it happen. But I fear it won't. I hope I am proved wrong.

One question because I'm an idiot when it comes to legalities. If they were to add all of Donner's scenes, who would get the Director Credit on the movie? Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't credit any movie to two directors...can you?

Good point, my friend. However, would it not be unprecedented for a director, in this case Donner, to receive a credit for a movie which was released 25 years ago and originally credited to another director, that being Richard Lester?

I promise I'm not being an ass, I'm just trying to see if there is a precedent here.  Smiley
