Interesting that the "Supergirls" are wearing red skirts when Kara Zor-El debuted just months earlier wearing her original all-blue costume.  Yet many Supergirl fans mistakeningly associate the young Silver Age Kara with a red skirt -- even the colorists for "Many Happy Returns" got it wrong (though her skirt was corrected in the TPB).

The red skirt looks okay on the superbaby but not on super Lois --maybe it has to do with leg length or "camera" angle.
