I've been trying to decide which way I should draw Lex Luthor for his Supermanica entry. What do you folks think?

He should be drawn in simple button-shirt with pants and black shoes.  The face should emphasize that he has red eyebrows but no head hair at all.  The  shape of the head should be almost egg-shaped but with just enough strength in the jaw to suggest aggressiveness.

The clothing would be from his origions as his own henchman.  The origional Luthor had red hair.  The head shape is from the way that, in the '70s, some writers made a point of saying that Luthor was a Scorpio, and as Dickie Smothers and Jonathan Winters know, Scorpios are unredeemably evil.

I voted "purple and green costume." (Interesting "business suit and tie" wasn't an option...think he wore that in a few 50's stories, yes?)

Yeah, but I think people equate the business suit look more with the Post-Crisis Luthor ... I know I do.

The battle suit would be a nice change of pace if for no other reason that it has never been seen on screen. Luthor in a three piece suit was seen way back in Superman vs Atom Man and I think we got Luthor in prison gray in Superman IV. The lab coat is just too cliche of mad scientist to even be on the table unless you really want a campy feel for the new Sueprman movies (IMHO bad idea)
