"The bottom line involves choices.  Neither gods nor humans have ever stood calmly in a minefield forever.  Good or evil, they are bound to choose.  And when they do, you will see the truth of all that motivates us.  As a thinking being, you have the obligation to choose.  If the fate of all mankind were in your hands, what would your decision be?  As a writer and an artist, I've drawn my answer."   - Jack Kirby

I wonder of there is a holographic program at the Fortress of Solitude that responds to the command, "Play Misty for Me."

Finally got to read this story---the tale cited by fans as supposedly the comic where Clark is first, erm, "intimate" (presumably judging from that panel about "the next morning" and his bed not having been made...).

Still, if that *was* the case, I wonder if Superboy (realizing the nature the less-than-consensual state the girl would've been under when they *were* intimate) in some missing panel wasn't seen making a sizeable donation of "just-obtained" parts to Sony or Chrysler (well, the robot *was* "never seen again"...). ;-)

I'm really sorry to break this to you, but that robot did make one more appearance.

The third time it decided to harrass Kara Zor El

Now Supergirl has a bit more of a temper on her than Superman does.  Kal put up with Steve Lombard and Morgan Edge for an insanely long time.

Supergirl quit her job with Nasty and the others.

Supergirl just casually watched as Brainiac shrank down to nothingness, even though Superman was begging Supergirl to use the gun to reverse the effect.  Which shows that Supergil really does hate Brainiac for what he did to Kandor and the salvation of the Kryptonian race(Jor El's rocket that was stolen along with Kandor)

I don't think that robot teacher survived an encounter with Supergirl.

Hey, that was a pretty good story.

Is it just me, or is the robot kind of a jerk?  Smiley

No he is a jerk. Also his existance conflicts with what we were always told about Superman escaping Krypton - that the rocket was big enough for both Kal-El and his mother but his mother desides to remain by Jor-El's side and right afterword Krypton dies. Of course when you got right down to it much of what Superman saw about Krypton conflicted with what Superboy had to deal with.

With inconsistencies like that, it's really not very suprising they had all those Earths
