Hey all! I'm new here, but I have been a big comics fan since I was little. Right now I'm going through a Superman phase where I want to only read superman comics. I have most of his stuff post crisis but I have zero from the 70's. I was wondering if anyone would care to give me a list of issue numbers and storylines that are the best book's to look out for. Also can anyone tell me which story has superman as the old white haired man. I've seen the picture on several sites including this one can anyone help me with this? Thank you.

"The bottom line involves choices.  Neither gods nor humans have ever stood calmly in a minefield forever.  Good or evil, they are bound to choose.  And when they do, you will see the truth of all that motivates us.  As a thinking being, you have the obligation to choose.  If the fate of all mankind were in your hands, what would your decision be?  As a writer and an artist, I've drawn my answer."   - Jack Kirby

You can't miss these stories from the Bronze Age!

- The sandman saga (SUPERMAN # 233/242, I think... I have to see)
- "Who took out the Super from Superman?", my favourite (SUPERMAN # 296/299).
- "The last days of Lois and Lana" (SUPERMAN # 361/362).
- The Euphor saga (SUPERMAN # 380/382).
- "The new Brainiac" (ACTION COMICS # 544/546) and "The new Luthor" (ACTION COMICS # 544 and SUPERMAN # 385/386).
