Im wondering if Edmond Hamilton wrote that Superboy yarn  as he had written a short story where planets moved from solar system to solar system to find a new sun. It was called "Thundering Planets", natch.

Jim Shooter wrote that story in Superboy #140, July 1967, "The Wizard of Odds".
