hi, this is a alternate desing for Superman I made, my idea was to make an upgrade to the classic costume, bu tpreserving the basic elements (blue, red, yellow, cape, etc) and finding solutions on the most outdated elements like the polemic trunks, replacing it with a belt that merges the clasic yellow belt with the lines of the boots, and the \s/, making it look more like a logo, with minimal elements and a simetric pattern, in a mix of the All-Stars and the Kingdom Come \S/ I put him gloves for visual coherence and to avoid fingerprints.
No matterwhat Eddie Berganza said, Clark Kents surely can put his fingerprints in legal papers and ID, so his aura doesn't protect him to leave fingerprints when he catches something with his super force. And well, since he doesn`t wears a mask, non

It is in the Fan Gallery in this site

thanks!!

I like it, it's a good picture and interesting costume design.

I'm not too sure about the gloves but that might just be because i'm used to him not wearing them.

I always thought about the fingerprints thingie too...  Superman attends a lot of charity stuff in the sa and catches Lois in every story.  She could easily get Supes tootsie's prints and at the office, Clark would be even easier by his typewriter or coffee cup or doorknob - just about anything...  Oh well, sa was so innocent.

Strange, your way of drawing reminds me of Chris Sprouse...

I like It ... particularly the styling of the "S" emblem. Traditional yet fresh.
