Here's a tale spun by Elliot S! Maggin and Curt Swan, circa 1975:

"The Man Who CREATED SUPERMAN!"

Great story, Rao. Just as enjoyable today as it was 30 years ago. When I got to the last panel, I was smiling right along with Superman.

I honestly don't think Elliot S! Maggin ever wrote a bad Superman yarn. And just 14 pages. Not continued. Not crossovered with a dozen other mags. You got your quarter's worth, and "ACTION PLUS WITH: The ATOM". What more could you ask for?

I had never read this story, turns out I like it.

One of the reasons that I added it to the site was Beppo's discovery in the recent ES!M chat that it's also one that Elliot likes.  I'm glad he mentioned it, or I might not have ever looked it up.

Thanks!
