Quote
The "Superman Returns" influence on the raised chest emblem on Superman's costume;

Lee Bermejo did it first in Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, and recently in the "This Was Your Life" story. If anything, the movie took its cue from Bermejo's art.

That said, I noticed all the various eras and incarnations being alluded to, too.

My first novella, Wounds of the Heart (http://www.booksurge.com/product.php3?bookID=IMPR02655-00001), has been published. Check it out, if you like.

Quote from: "MatterEaterLad"
I actually think that the pretzel has some allusions to the Superman "S" symbol...and I hardly ever think that kind of stuff... Cool

To paraphrase Sigmund Freud,  sometimes a pretzel is just a pretzel.

I just read it...

It's got everything that we thought we wouldn't see in comics a year ago...

and yet I still cautiously withold judgment. There is still the Superboy issue, after all...
