A secret identity? Good idea.
Better than the tattoo, I'd say.

Actually i liked the tattoo. In my opinion, DC has been doing well to update their charectors for the times.

Are you serious?  They gave Kara a tattoo??  How - by putting kryptonite needles in the tattoo gun?

Kind of messes with the whole secret ID concept.  "Oh, I liked Supergirl's tattoo so much that I got the same one..."

lol. It's in issue 6 of the current series though. There's a picture of it at this link... http://www.supermanhomepage.com/comics/2006-post-crisis-reviews/c-review-2006.php?topic=supergirl6 but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to hot link to this site or if there are rules against it.

When i read the issue, i think she was in Kandar the bottle city so the tattoo gun could work there since it's kryptonian. However the diologe did suggest her skin was like tattooing steel.

I thought that tribal stuff went out in the '90s.  Sort of reminds me of a modern Bob Haney story.

Since the only one who knows that Supergirl has a tattoo is Supergirl, I don't think that will be a problem.

And yes, I realize that you were most likely joking...

No one is lamest enough to get a tribal tattoo now! I bet all those losers that got them when they were trendy are feeling like dummies, that is unless they haven't already laser removed them.

And what kind of needle and ink would even work on her anyway? :?

She and Powergirl are currently in Kandor. Red Sun enviroment and their powers are waining. So, probably standard needles and ink.
