More white-haired than blond. Gives off a "Sean Connery" vibe for me, but I'm not bothered by it. Here are some scans I found from a recent WIZARD that shows Kubert doing sketches for Action, including Superman, Bizarro, Jor-El, Lara, and a "redesigned" Perry White...but no worries, that's NOT how he'll look! It was done more out of sketch-experimenting than anything else.

That's totally awesome.

And the movie has always been canon.

Kubert admits he was inspired by Sean Connery for the design, but the first thing that I thought of when I saw the cover image was...

"James Coburn"?

Am I the only one who sees him?

Besides, if anyone should look like Sean Connery, isn't it VARTOX?  Smiley

Continental Op, I think you've figured out this storyline.  The mysterious "last son" must be Vartox!
