Yeah, Smallville seems popular, but the audience doesn't seem to get the Superman mythos...

AND, I live in a "sleepy little town" here in California.... I hardly see men in ties, let alone super heroes!

Quote from: "nightwing"
And while we're on gripes about the show, I have to say making the Clark/Lana/Lex triangle the origin of the Superman/Lex feud is terrible.  For all those people out there who thought it couldn't get any dumber than "Superboy made my hair fall out", this show proves yes, it can get dumber.  Yes it can.

The inability for characters to have a meaningful conversation so as to fabricate (what passes for) tension plagues a lot of these shows.  A certain amount of that is inevitable in the TV convention, but after awhile it just gets teasingly stupid.

Few little spoilers. So be warned:  Grin

From Kryptonsite: Victor (Cyborg), A.C. (Aquaman), Ollie (Green Arrow), & Bart might wear costumes and have code names. However Bart will not be calling himself the Flash but rather a name describing his IMPULSIVE nature. Yes J'onn J'onzz returns to Smallville in a episode called Labyrinth. He'll use his telephathic powers to help Clark escape an alternate world where he never had super powers & Lana was his high school sweetheart.
