I am assuming this will feature the great Murphy Anderson as well? Of all the books listed in both posts, this is by far the stand-out for me. With those writers (two of DC's best) and those amazing artists, it's a must-have. Truly superb super-hero comics that could only have come from old DC.

Considering the first archive included the Anderson stuff and this volume covers the same ground (plus much more), it's a safe bet Anderson's in here.

It does sound appealing.  I have to say the Showcase series has made me feel like a kid again. I grew up in the era of 100-page-Super-Spectaculars and tabloid-size reprint collections, and these things are very much in the same spirit of massive content at cheap, cheap prices.

Challengers, Brave and the Bold, Aquaman, more GL, Shazam and now Hawkman...I'm gonna need another bookcase.  Smiley

Don't forget kidz, you need your 3D glasses for Action Comics 847. So, send money to Count Floyd...  Grin

What an extraordinary month; I am psyched up. Finally after all the waiting, Jeff Smith's Captain Marvel shazams the shelves, plus Krypto series ends, Showcase Hawkman 500 pages, more Crisis team-ups, Alex Ross' Justice 10, and House of Mystery 552 pages. It's going to be a busy month.  Cheesy

Thank God they are finally putting out the Jeff Smith Shazam: The Monster Soceity of Evil.  I've been waiting for that for some time now.

And Justice was really good last month.  Thankfully that series is finally starting to pick up a bit.
