Get out to your local store or shop and buy A-SS#6. Story and artwork are beautifully rendered. Everything just fell into place for me reading issue six. Superman is Superman again. Thank you Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, and Jamie Grant.

If DC publishes an Absolute edition, I'll be first to pre-order.  Grin

With this issue, the title now carries a "Eisner Award Winner: Best New Series" seal, and the book deserves it.  This is the best Superman I've read in quite a long time.

But the biggest surprise was seeing that our own Beppo is going to be the next Doctor Fate!

I knew the waterworks would flow from the cover but boy what a great yarn - Krypto worth the price of admission.  Just jaw dropping goodness!

I really enjoyed this one as a modern way to tell a story with very Silver Age sensibilities.  There was even a surprise at the end I didn't see coming!

Fun stuff.  Can't wait until July 4 when the next one comes out.  Roll Eyes

What a WONDERFUL BOOK! And this was best issue yet!!!! It's just a crying shame that such a GREAT book takes so darn long to come out! Still; if there is a series out there that is worth the wait...
