The mood of this story is anything but (intentionally) humorous... I won't spoil the later events for anyone, though.

Still, I can't get past the third page of that story without bursting into laughter. The warden points to this HUGE autographed portrait of Superman that for some reason he has hanging there on the wall of his office...!

I can't help imagining this warden guy going home at night, and slipping into bed with a life-size inflatible Superman. "Sigh! At least HERE we can be together...!"

I suppose my mind is even more twisted than Luthor's.
