Absolutely fantastic news.  I've been waiting a long time for the Captain Victory graphic novel, and this looks like it'll be very well put together.

Silver Star (Hardcover) will be the 1st to be released on July 25, 2007.
I can't wait! These are two Kirby series that I never read, so it will be the 1st time for me.

Don't forget to read through the message board replies. Kurt Busiek chimes in as well as some others, real informative reading.

Great news that the "Hunger Dogs" graphic novel will be included, but no mention of Kirby's ""Even Gods Must Die!" New Gods final chapter that segued into "Hunger Dogs".  It was only published in the 1980s New Gods Baxter Reprint series, and the graphic novel doesn't make much sense without it.  Not many people know about this one, I hope it doesn't fall in the cracks.  DC finally has the absolutely perfect product here, it'd be a shame to blow it, so here's the heads-up DC!

I've been thinking about getting my own finite 70s Kirby series bound in hardcover and now it looks like every major superhero comic ever published by Marvel and DC will eventually be reprinted in book form.
