Because of Kubert's delays, the final chapter of "Last Son" will now be presented in Action Comics Annual #11.

I seem to recall that Action Comics Annual #10 just came out.  If so, that means it'll probably be a bit of a wait until #11 is published.  After all, annuals are supposed to come out only once a year.

The last story I can remember that was delayed this long was Camelot 3000 - and that one had 12 installements!

Why do people keep announcing stuff as if it were done already, then push the deadline beyond its extremities?

As a translator, I keep getting this sort of thing: "We need this on our website like, now!" Then it turns out they haven't even got the copy ready.  Sorry, just blowing off steam.

Hype, baby, hype.  Sooner is better than later.  Disappointment is yesterday's news.  Now now now!

DC is just sending us the same message I've been preaching for years:

Always wait for the trade paperback.
