Sam, we're living in that time now:

Along with many of the science fiction writers of the past century, including the Superman writers, I think that in the future our children will have many of the physical attributes of Superman.  We can only pray that they have some of the moral certainty, wisdom, intelligence, love, and above all, humanity.

Most likely holoporn. Grin

But in all seriousness, I think Superman is just a sort of timeless legend that will endure the rigors of time.

As long as humanity excists, Superman will continue his never ending battle for truth and justice. All the while, getting very pissed that he has yet to see a pay check.

>People still talk about Hercules so why not Superman?
But how much do people think he will change, and will it be change for the good?

Anyone know how much Hercules has changed from the original? I just don't see the original Hercules anything like that depicted by Kevin Sorbo. I'm pretty sure none of the original characters chewed gum!

MIght be that the only reason people now would recognise the character in 2107 is the "S" on his uniform?
