There was also the scene in Ultimates where Lois, Clark, and Jimmy holding a video camera corner Tony Stark for an interview. And there are about three references to the Daily Planet.

Sue was Invisible Scarlett O'Neil,

Since I'd never heard of Scarlett O'Neil, I always just assumed Sue was an "Invisible Man" swipe.  But I also like Al's meta version.

Never in all the comics I had, he basically flew, was weakened by fire before much happened and used super breath.

My MM experience in the 60s was all JLA and the guy could never seem to do much of anything.

Yes, but in his own strip he could do anything, which was actually worse:

Well, that is to say, anything except stand near a lit birthday cake without fainting.

I actually read that --Lois appears as well.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a Spider-Man Through the Ages Forum?  Rao could be Spidey-Sense (or maybe radiation? Uncle Ben?), Super-Monkey could be Spider-Monkey, Klar could be Spidey 2099, and MEL could be Electro!

Since Marvel is all about irony, shouldn't I be Kraven the Hunter?

If I were to run a "Spider-Man Through the Ages" site, my moniker of choice would be Galactus.

Both have a villain named Electro.

I should be taking issue with this! (DC & Marvell) comics!   Anyway if Galactus is always hungry,  and I look like a big lump of Gouda Cheese (which is red BTW) I guess I should be pretty concerned because I could be his next snack.  I can see this now, a new marketing phenomenon, Tortilla chips called "Shazams!"   Johnny Bravo already has his own brand of Tortilla chips called "Bravos"  It would be just my luck wouldn't it at the rate things are going?
