Wow, neat figure. Smiley Not too sure about the Flock of Seagulls hair Kal's got going, but apart from that the figure looks really badass. Smiley

Geez! Looks like both Supes and Bats need to cut down on their daily gamma radiation intake.

I'm sorry, did you say "bad" or "fat"?

Miller's stuff is okay on the page...sometimes...but I don't really think it survives the translation to statues or figures.  I was watching the "Daredevil" DVD last week (something I don't recommend doing, BTW!) and in an interview even Miller himself admits his pictures are not pretty...they're meant to keep things racing along at a clip, so if he has a style at all it's "hurried." Immortalizing them forever in a static format seems to be missing the whole point.

I liked DKR and hated the sequel, but in both cases I couldn't get behind Miller's take on Superman.  So this is one less thing I have to save up for.

That is the ugliest Superman piece that will be in my collection!

It'll have a place, sure, but wayyyyyyy in the back, behind even Hasbro's and Mattel's offerings!  Wink

If anyone asks, I'll tell them the Frank Miller Superman is the Alfred E. Neuman figure all grown up!  Cheesy

I have a great desire to own as many Superman figures as I can.

Yet, This Superman is so hideous. I don't want him or the Hush one with the weird green crap growing on his neck.

It's a dillemma.

I don't know if its because the pictures seem to be taken from below, but these figures look weird, fat and kind of mutated. Something seems wrong with their faces too. I much rather have the dc direct ones ^^.

These figures are by DC Direct, too, Tiberius!

I've heard rumors, though, that Mattel is planning a Superman line of action figures.  I haven't heard what scale or style they're going to be in, though.

Oh, by the way!  This information came from Julius Marx, just so no one thinks I'm making this up.  Smiley
