Who is selling it? Of late Wal-Mart has been coming through with lots of series, would you think that they would have it? Or could get it?  I would want this.

Responding late to this.  Oh well.

There is also a 2nd season of Superfriends now out.

Say what you will about Zan, Janya, and Gleek, the Superfriends(Supermna, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman) are written as heroes.

In the episode with Rokan:

Superman: "We decide this matter as the Superfriends decide all matters of importance:  the greatest good for the greatest number of people."

I can't see the current Superman saying something like that.

Yes, he was dumbed down(more or less.  That Superman tended to use the Supermobile a lot more often to handle red sun and kryptonite situations.  In one way he was smarter than the comic book version).  Sad, that a dumbed down Superman is far better written than the current Superman

I'm super-nostalgic for this series and really should just break down and buy it --my nephew would like it too, I'm sure.
 Cheesy

Interestingly, from snooping around the net, it looks like the current cartoon creators are introducing the Legion of Doom into the animated JLU continuity as the major story arc in the next 13 episodes (2005 Fall season).  They have already used the Secret Society of Supervillain (lead by Ultra-Humanite!) in a previous season.
